My name is Cathy. I cannot recommend Nave Law firm enough. My husband had a hospitalization that cost him his 2A rights in 2015. In the spring of 2023 we employed the Nave Law Firm and more specifically Justin and Jennifer to navigate the confusing paperwork that NYS required for him to get those right returned. We took it slow and thorough. After 20 months of gathering documents and the lengthy process of NYS reviewing them my husband was granted a “Certificate of Relief of Disabilities”. It was never about the right to purchase a long arm but the feeling that his reputation is restored. Thank you again for your kindness and understanding as we navigated this journey
The whole Nave team is great to work with. They could not be more accommodating to your schedule..Justin Lange was great and helpful getting us through the process of our wills, health care proxy, and power of attorney. If you don’t think about using Nave you have made a mistake!!
I retained Nave at their urging because they said my child's school district was acting illegally in regards to following special education law. They wrote one letter and never helped me again. Staff turnover was frequent, preventing them from keeping in touch, and they somehow justified spending all of the retainer and dropping me as a client without a single promise fulfilled. Don't waste your time, energy, or money with this firm. It would be one thing if a decision didn't go my way but I felt well-represented. That would not make me think less of them. In reality, I was told over the phone that what the district was doing was so terrible that if I retained them it would be easy to get them to fix their behavior. After the one letter Nave sent they considered their obligation fulfilled and continued to bill me (drain the retainer) for work they never did. Truly, for education law, it would be best to look elsewhere.
