I went to Tully Rinckey due to the fact that they are one of the only law firms in my area that handles Civil service Law. I outlined my case during the consultation and they said I might have a case and they would send a letter to get their response about my issue. I gave them 2k for their services. I hear nothing other than bills each month for one lawyer to talk to another lawyer within the same law firm. After my 2k was gone they sent me an email saying they didn't send the letter since I had no case and when I asked follow up questions stopped talking to me unless I paid them more. Of course they respond quick to my review maybe it wouldn't of been so bad if it was even remotely close to that when I was a customer.
Do not hire any attorney from this firm. I started out with one attorney and he moved so I had to get another attorney from this firm. They do not care about there clients/ woman. I paid 11,000 dollars for a divorce that should have cost me wayless. Im still not done paying , had to hire another attorney to finish the job because my attorney from this firm wouldn't finish it. Its nothing but a scam, dont know how im even gonna survive these next couple of months. If you can't meet your attorney or go and speak with them at your local area don't hire them
I recently hired Mr. Christian Root for an unexpected event. Like most people the thought of needing legal services can be overwhelming. Prior to my post I read over reviews from other clients. Not to dismiss anyone's feelings , but I personally had no issues. With my work schedule I preferred to have my meetings done via email and telephone. Mr. Root was prompt and responsive every time. I understand that there are people that have little to no knowledge of the legal system , but that is not the fault of any firm. One can easily educate themselves just by opening a web page these days. I spent hours educating myself on a certain Reform Law prior to contacting Tully Rinckey. Lawyers can be “pricey”, but don’t let the cost be the sole deciding factor. I paid 1,500.00 and I was not disappointed. I would have paid double if I needed to. Having a supportive safety net is priceless in my opinion. Maybe some of the lower reviews don't understand how lawyers get paid? Overall, my experience was a 10 out of 10. I encourage anyone in an unexpected crisis to call Mr. Root. His expertise, sophistication, compassion and personalized attention is what makes him a great lawyer and human. Lori, his legal secretary, took the time to answer all my specific questions and addressed all my concerns promptly. I am very thankful to you both.
I work mostly with Attorney Kevin Yeager. He is always available by phone and email. If I leave a message he will call me back. He treats our clients with the utmost courtesy and professionalism. He takes the time with everyone. I recommend him to all.
Reviews are important because, before choosing a service, most people will read reviews first. Usually, if a majority of people are saying the same thing about a company, there's a truth to that. Too many companies take advantage of people, and with these reviews we can help others from making the same mistake. Unfortunately, when choosing this law firm for my services I did not read these reviews. My experience was much like the rest. When it came to the consultation, the attorney was very confident and described how the services would go, how he would help me with my case. I felt very comfortable in placing the $3000.00 retainer, because he had plenty of experience and, in our conversation, he made me feel like I could trust him. We had a set plan and when the day came for him to submit a document to the court he asked me to remind him of everything I wanted, all of these things we had already discussed. I basically wrote the document he submitted to the court, myself. I also feel like the $1800.00 that was used was not used fairly. Most communication from him was by email. When I would respond to the email, I was charged. He would then respond, and I was charged, instead of communicating with me through phone. It would have been a more effective form of communication and would rather have been charged hourly, than per response to emails. (When, most of the time, even after the email, I didn't understand because of terms used. I googled to understand.) When services were completed with the attorney, I gave a few weeks before calling to ask what protocols are on the refund owed to me. I left a message with the attorney's secretary. A few days went by without a return phone call so I attempted again with a message. I let a week go by and tried again, this time the attorney answering my call. He advised that his secretary was on vacation and he would put a note in that it had been a few weeks since my case was closed and would try to "put a rush" on it. I let FOUR weeks go by before calling back to check on the status. NOTHING had been done. I was told by the secretary that she would once again, "put a rush" on it. I finally received back $1196.00 but they sent it to THE DEFENDANTS home!!! The same person that the attorney had helped me file a petition and temporary custody arrangements with!! I am extremely dissatisfied with the services provided to me. All in all, I felt I did most of the work in drafting the petition, (it was mostly all my words sent to him in an email), and felt there was lack of communication and response. Will never use this firm for future needs .
